Brief Job Description: Plasma Cutter is responsible for performing plasma cutting on structural steel elements using manual machines within specified time and tolerance. The individual should possess good factual knowledge and shall be able to maintain safe and quality work practices.
Job Role
To work as Plasma Cutter and perform cutting operations on structural steel elements using plasma cutting tools and equipment, within specified time and tolerance under supervision.
Minimum Educational Qualifications : Preferably 10th standard
Maximum Educational Qualifications : Not applicable
Minimum Job Entry Age : 18 Years
Experience : Desirable:
1. Non trained worker : 9 years site experience in same occupation
2. Trained worker: 3 years site experience as a certified Gas Cutter – Construction
Personal Attributes
The individual is expected to be physically fit, mentally alert and safety cautious to be able to work across various location and height withstanding extreme condition while working. Moreover, the individual should preferably not be suffering from any respiratory disorder, vision defects and skin allergies due to exposure to light and heat. They should have good communication skills and shall be able to work within a team to handle various welding tools and materials.
