Painter & Decorator Trade in Construction Industry is the basic Trade which is common to all type of Constructions and has variance with respect to Specialization and specific requirements of the Project.
Brief Job Description: : Individual in this position need to work as semi-skilled category tradesman and perform tasks under instruction and close supervision of Painter & Decorator Level-3. He is expected to carry out shifting of materials, handling tools, & tackles mixing of colors & paints. Including identification and surface preparation and housekeeping. He should ensure trade specific compliance to environment, health and safety aspects.
Job Role
To work as Assistant in Painter & Decorator trade while attending and responding to the needs and requirement of the tasks under his trade senior level-3 and above.
Minimum Educational Qualifications : Preferably equivalent to 5 th (Normal literacy of reading, writing and understanding)/ Helper painter level – 1 qualified
Maximum Educational Qualifications : 10th Standard
Minimum Job Entry Age : 18 Years
Experience :
1. Six months experience for Helper painter level – 1 qualified.
2. One year experience for non trained worker

This job require individual to work at site as Assistant Painter & Decorator where should have good colour perception and writing skills the should be physically fit to withstand working in a difficult and tough construction environment while responding to the needs and requirements of the tasks.
