Construction Electrical Works involves laying of cables/ wires from power source to desired equipments, installation and maintenance of common electrical equipments and machineries at construction sites. It also includes installation and maintenance of LV wiring and electrical fixtures at industrial, residential and commercial buildings. All the activities under scope are carried out as per organizational HSE norms conforming to relevant electrical standard operating procedures, guidelines or specifications as per applicability.
Brief Job Description: Assistant Electrician will be assisting level-4 electrician or superior in electrical work for the installation, repair, and maintenance of temporary LV electrical connections at the construction sites and permanent connections at residential and commercial buildings. The individual will be engaged in laying conduits for LV single phase wiring with appropriate selection and use of hand and power tools efficiently.
Job Role
To work as an Assistant Electrician and perform installation, repair, and maintenance of LV electrical connections at construction sites temporary and permanent LV electrical connections at residential and commercial buildings. The individual will be engaged in laying conduits for LV single phase wiring and handle hand and power tools efficiently under supervision of level -4 electrician and above as per applicability. Also the jobholder should be able to engage the helper electrician level -1 suitably and productively.
Minimum Educational Qualifications : 10th Class
Maximum Educational Qualifications : Not applicable
Minimum Job Entry Age : 17 Years
Experience : Minimum 5 years’ experience for non- trained workers or 3 years’ experience for Construction Electrical Works Level 1 qualified

The job holder is expected to be physically fit and should be able to work across various locations in withstanding extreme conditions while working at the site; well versed with tasks and functions of basic electrical work. The person must be able to work within a team, handle the various tools and materials related to electrical work safely, consciously and take responsibility for own work.
