Skill World is the dream project of Pedagogues Education India Private Limited to see that every Indian is deployed usefully after acquiring necessary skills. In the first phase, Skill World is focussed on training at least 100,000 candidates in the next three years who would be gainfully employed after completing Pedagogues’ training programs. The company believes that scalability of training modules can only ensure early turnaround of skilled manpower. And this can happen only through delivering the courses in the Blended Learning mode so that quality of delivery, assessment and finally internship can ensure early placement of the trained manpower. Pedagogues’ is a pioneer with over five years’ experience in using emerging technologies to transform human capital in India through projects spanning the areas of Education Services, Testing Services, Skill Development, etc.
Pedagogues’ has strategic tie ups with various coaching centres, skill development centres, polytechnics, ITI’s across India and has the expertise to provide the full array of services including strategic planning, development, implementation, management and technology for skill development programmes across the country.
Pedagogues’ has realised that the biggest challenge would be to motivate students to enrol in live skill development learning centres and most of these students may not have access to computers, internet, etc. However, many students today have access to smartphones and courses can also be delivered through a Smartphone that would be much cheaper than delivering courses in the brick and mortar model.

Pedagogues’ have signed up with many training centres to deliver the prestigious PMKVY program funded by Government of India through NSDC through its repository of trainers and content benchmarked by various sector skill councils based on the job role. We have identified three focus areas which are essential to ensure the exact skilling requirements for the job role. Pedagogues’ have tied up with corporates who have shown willingness to intern candidates who undergo skill courses at Skill World Centres set up by us to ensure job placement to every candidate who is able to qualify the end term assessment prescribed by the SSC’s. After the initial internship period of 15 days, the company would be in a position to take them as trainees who have successfully completed the internship which is the cauldron for verifying the skills absorbed by each intern.

Unlike other skill development training companies our methodology would be to mobilise candidates based on their interest for a particular profession which would be figured out through our diagnostic tests that we would be conducting in various finishing schools, colleges and polytechnics, etc. On assessment, we would classify the candidates based on their acquired soft skills for live or online programs. Most of the courses under PMKVY and other government programs would be conducted free of cost. Almost all online courses would be available for a very nominal fee and it would be easy for the student to brush up courses on a regular basis that could also save on travelling time and cost for the student to the nearest Skill World Centre.

Pedagogues’ have poised to launch at least two Skill World centres in every town (Tier-1 to Tier-3) by the end of 2020 to take the number of Skill World Centres to 500 by the end of 2020. These centres would be targeted to train 0.5 million students by 2020 totalling to just 0.1% of the target fixed by the government. Our online courses would be leveraged to train more trainers and could be used as an utility to update various skills online.
